Top it off with a HAT

Usually every year around September I start wanting to knit and crochet
again. This year has been no exception....
I have started with a lot of new hats!
They really are a lot of fun to make, and
the projects travel well.

I have a few more made, but not photopraphed yet.
Also working on a fabulous knit ruffled poncho for
me!! It will be great, right now it looks crazy though.
It's construction is very different. I can't wait until
I have pictures to show. It is slow knitting so far though,
so it will still be a bit.

It isn't as bad as it sounds, really...but we are off to the Dr.

I hope not...she is terrible allergic to most all antibiotics.....
until later....
happy sewing and creating :)

Extra TWIRL

I made an extra twirlly skirt and a super fun tee!

For the tee it is just 1 1/2" ribbon sewn across the front.
(I singe the two cut ends over a flame to keep it from unravelling)
Line it up right where the sleeves meet the body of the skirt.
For the flower....gather about 18" of ribbon and wind it
in the shaped you want, I sew it on a piece of felt cut in a
circle. You could draw lines on the circle to give a guide for
sewing the flower. Sew it on teh shirt and add a button in the
middle of the flower... (sorry no photo's while I did this,
just wasn't thinking) I will post again with photos if I need to.
Have a great day!
